Little Doaty
The story of Josephine Margaret Rowan, a much loved little girl who died aged 4 years at Blackwood in 1878. Her grave just inside the main gate of the Blackwood Cemetery has long intrigued visitors who wonder who she was.
Isaac Povey
Hidden away atop Dead Man's Hill lies the grave of Isaac Povey, a young Birmingham bricklayer who came to the goldfields in 1854 hoping to make his fortune and return to his sweetheart. He never made it home.
